I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The peaceful location and vast park-lands surrounding it were stunning. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my visit, which made me feel welcomed. In addition, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel; it was spotless and tidy. Lastly, the tastefully decorated rooms were very comfortable to stay in.

Lovely historic house set in vast park-lands, very peaceful location. Absolutely spotless clean rooms with tasteful decoration. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful host who offered us a chilled beverage on arrival. The bathroom amenities were top-notch and generously supplied.
The surrounding town had a rather depressed feel to it and it took us 11klms to find a decent restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff seemed to not have noticed that there were two of us staying as there was only one bath towel and one single bed duvet provided, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep trying to share it.

Spending Christmas at the charming countryside retreat was a delightful experience with its unique and historic house set amidst vast park-lands providing peaceful surroundings. the stunningly decorated rooms were brilliantly designed, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. the host was very friendly, helpful, and offered us tips on nearby tourist attractions to explore. the location of the hotel was perfect, with quick access to nearby transportation and local markets.
Most of the local restaurants were out of business, and the closest restaurant was an 11 km drive away.
